About the Venue
Kaomai Lanna is a unique boutique retreat space set within lush gardens and forested grounds just outside of Chiang Mai. Originally a collection of old tobacco curing barns, the property has been thoughtfully restored into a peaceful sanctuary that blends rustic architecture with nature.
Surrounded by tall trees, greenery, and quiet pathways, the space offers a calm and grounding environment, ideal for slowing down and stepping away from the pace of daily life. The design of the venue feels both natural and intentional, with open-air structures, warm materials, and spaces that invite rest, reflection, and connection.

There are three main routes to arrive at ViYarte, Playa Marsella:
• Flying into Managua, Nicaragua: This is the most direct option. From Managua, it’s a 2.5-hour drive to Playa Marsella. You can arrange a taxi ahead of time or catch one at the airport (approximately $90–$100).
• Flying into Liberia, Costa Rica: Another option is flying into Liberia. The drive to Playa Marsella takes 3–4 hours, including a border crossing at Peñas Blancas. This route is often cheaper but may involve extra steps for crossing the border.
• Flying into San José, Costa Rica: Though flights here can sometimes be more affordable, it’s a longer journey—about 6–8 hours by car, with a border crossing.
Shuttles can be arranged from both Managua & Liberia, based on arrival times. -
If you hold a valid US or Canadian passport, a visa is not required to enter Nicaragua. However, you may need to provide proof of "onward travel", such as a bus or plane ticket.
Please ensure you research specific requirements based on your passport and country of origin, as they may vary.
