What is Movement?

Movement is one of the essential pillars of life.

It is a way of transcendence. People in history have always used it as a way of transcendence: through dance, performances, mindfulness etc.

Movement Practice is…..

it should not:

  • only be a way to get more ‘fit’ and aesthetically appealing

A meaningful movement practice should:

  • Give your life more joy and happiness

  • It should facilitate and support your personal and spiritual growth

  • It should improve the quality of your relationship with yourself and others

  • It should give you a sense of community, and not be only a solo endeavor

  • It should improve aspects of your functional movement such as coordination, strength, mobility

  • It should improve your general movement awareness and relationship with your surroundings

  • etc
